Backlinking Strategies that Work
After giving up on Yahoo Answers I decided to focus my attention on forum posts and blog comments to help my search engine rankings.
Based on my Analytics account screen shot below I think I am on track to meet my traffic goals. Click on the image to see a larger view. As you can see in month of August I have received 295 visitors at an average of 10 unique visitors per day. Most of my traffic currently is from referring sites.
My traffic sources are blog comments and forum posts. One of my goals is to get link juice from referring sites along with traffic.
As of now I am ranking in top 50 for my main keyword “how to make quick money” on Google. If you see there are approximately 147 million search results for this keyword. I still have a month to make it to page 1 of Google for this keyword.
If you check this keyword using Google keyword research tool you will notice there are more than 8000 searches per month for this keyword with match type “Exact”.
If Google is even half accurate with its keyword tool then I should be able to meet my goal of 1000 unique visitors in September by making it to top 3 in Google for my target keyword.
Do you think it is possible to achieve top 3 ranking for this keyword in Google?
I will be moving on to my next traffic strategy in the meantime. There is still lot of work to be done

Congrats Ravi, I can see your effort on this blog and I’m sure you’ll achieve your goal in short period. As we know, optimizing for the keyword that relates to make money online would be challenging, but it’s not impossible, you should try to build as much backlinks as you could to rank well in search engine.

I see that you are showing PR2 on one source and PR3 on another and you have over 14,000 total backlinks pointing to any page in your domain … and if the info is correct, your site is not even a year old! That is just frickin AWESOME! Congrats!
I have started using a program called Traffic Bug - there is a monthly fee - what it does is completely automates Social Bookmarking, Directory Submissions, Search Engine Submissions and RSS distribution. It is still in Beta, was a bit wonky when I first started using it a few months ago, but they keep improving and I have noticed that my backlinks for one of my sites is growing by as much as 10 and 20 per day and I expect that the number will keep increasing as it does this organically, not all at once. Anyway, go have a boo at it.

Conrad, I just checked the blog out on IE and firefox and had a few friends check too. It seems to load fine. Not sure why you had the issue. I will keep an eye out for it.
