I’ve basically given up on SEO and simply work on generating great content that gets broadcasted via word of mouth. I know enough to add title tags and keywords and the like but the whole ‘gaming’ of Google - it’s just not worth it me these days.

He goes in depth on the backlink obsession factor, page rank, site content, link juice and other relevant terms in this video.

Barbara, you are right, the google game is tough. But this is business, not a hobby 
so got to get tougher and keep up with it.
The thing that seperates us from the gurus is they don’t quit. They hit a market real hard. We give up too soon.

That’s a really nice video there, especially the power tip where matt reveals how you can limit the access to admin panel by specifying your ip in the .htaccess I am sure that would be really useful for many to get the hackers away.
